The CD74ACT153E is a dual version of CMOS 4:1 multiplexer. It has two independent multiplexers, each with two binary data inputs, one common binary data input, and one common output. It is designed to operate with any VCC supply in the range of 4.5 to 5.5 Volts. It requires a TTL-level input signals and supply voltage combinations, and offers TTL-level output signals compatible with the direct interface to various logic families.
For application, the 4:1 multiplexer acts by monitoring the two select inputs S0 and S1. When S2 is low, the S0 selects the B1 data input and when S2 is high, the S1 selects the B2 data input.
