The CD74HCT163MT is a synchronous 4-bit, up/down-counting binary counter with an asynchronous reset, and are specifically designed to generate high-speed clocks or divide-by-N frequencies. The CD74HCT163MT is available in 16-pin TSSOP, SOIC and SOP packages, eliminating the need for external logic that is typical of asynchronous binary counters.
