Common Mode Chokes (CMCs) are a type of signal filtering technology used to keep interference caused by Common Mode Current (CMC) under control. The CMC is defined as a current of equal magnitude in both the power and data lines of a two-wire transmission system. The CM7560-334 is a surface-mount, single-lane Common Mode Choke, with an operating temperature range of -55 to +125 C and a rated current of 1A. It is comprised of two inductors made of multi-layer ceramic ferrite which determine the filter characteristics of the choke. The inductors are installed within a plastic housing, and are symmetrically wound to obtain the desired differential mode attenuation performance.
