Working Principle of CMS2-13-R
The stopband of CMS2-13-RCommon Mode Choke is based on the principle of EMI suppression. The stopband is generated by the magnetic field generated by the bleeding current along the ferrite core. This magnetic field interacts with the copper cables, reducing their ability to propagate common mode noise. The CMS2-13-RCommon Mode Choke also works by reducing the cross-talk and crosstalk immunity of the cables connected to it.
The CMS2-13-RCommon Mode Choke also works by attenuating both conducted and radiated emissions. It filters out high frequency noise by absorbing energy from these emissions and dissipating it as heat. The CMS2-13-RCommon Mode Choke also attenuates differential mode noise and minimizes the peak voltage overshoot on the connected cables.
By reducing the radiated emissions, the CMS2-13-RCommon Mode Choke also reduces the noise pick up on nearby cables.
