A digital to analog converter, or DAC in short, is a device which converts a digital signal, typically a binary word, into a respective analog voltage which is proportional to the digital input. The DAC7611PB is a special type of DAC employing a potentiometer-based structure to achieve a low temperature coefficient and a high accuracy over temperature.The primary application field of DAC7611PB lies in instrumentation, primarily in its use in combination with a data acquisition system such as an A/D converter or a processor. DAC7611PB also has wide applications in frequency control and multiplexing signals. In addition to this, DAC7611PB finds applications in many areas such as robotics and feedback control systems, and can be used in many areas like manufacturing and automation.Since DAC7611PB is a high-performance digital to analog converter, its working principle is quite simple and straightforward.
