DC1565A-D Application Field and Working Principle
The DC1565A Evaluation Board is strategically developed for evaluating the features of the 28-pin SOIC (Small Outline Integrated Circuit) ADCs. It works as the source of 8-Bit or 10-Bit analog input data and it can process 4-to-20mA current input signals. The evaluation board DC1565A-D is ideal for measuring and analyzing analog-to-digital conversions performed using the industry’s latest engineering innovations. This board is especially embedded with an in-situ adjustable signal conditioner and power supply unit for use with various feedback types. Its optimized concepts and flexible functionality make it suitable for use in many applications.

Working Principle
The DC1565A-D board is intended to evaluate digital-to-analog converter (DAC) performance. The board takes a voltage input, which is then fed into the DAC and further to the analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The mounted IC provides demodulation of the digital waveform. The demodulated components are then examined and the digital output is verified for accuracy. Any discrepancies between the expected digital output and the actual measured values are displayed. Depending on the type of DAC, the user can then adjust the components that are subject to variability in order to obtain the expected digital output.
