The DC1617A-B is an evaluation board that provides the ability to evaluate a switching power supply and optimize it. The device offers a broad range of features, from basic performance measurement to system-level controls. The DC1617A-B application fields accommodate a wide variety of applications, including controllable buck, buck-boost, and boost converters with up to 2V output, integrating PWM controllers, and facilitating advanced PWM technologies. It’s also widely used in motor control systems, high-speed buck regulators, and AC/DC power supplies. The board features a fully functional multi-output DC/DC step-down (buck) converter and an adjustable output voltage range from 0V to 5V. The DC1617A-B provides adjustable resolution between 0.0025V and 0.4V and requires a 10-bit synchronous interface. It consists of two dual-channel amplifier packages, each containing two buck regulators with adjustable outputs. The upper and lower channels of the DC1617A-B board provide adjustable output voltages of 0–2V and 1–5V, respectively. These can be used in any combination to provide a single, regulated output.
