DC2199A-B is a versatile evaluation board developed by Maxim Integrated. It is part of the company’s selection of Evaluation Boards - DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS. This board is designed to help engineers and designers evaluate the power saving performance of power solutions such as DC-DC and AC-DC converters, regulators, linear, LED drivers, USB charger controllers, and other power management ICs with the number of applications in the industry.

The board comes with all the components necessary for the evaluation of power solutions. It includes a current regulator module, converter, low-dropout (LDO) regulator, LED driver, and other components. The board also has a power monitor board to accurately measure the current drawn by the power solution under test as well as the power efficiency. It also has connections for probes and other tools which can be used to measure the static and dynamic characteristics of the solution.
