It includes a current regulator module, converter, low-dropout (LDO) regulator, LED driver, and other components. The board also has a power monitor board to accurately measure the current drawn by the power solution under test as well as the power efficiency. It also has connections for probes and other tools which can be used to measure the static and dynamic characteristics of the solution.
DC2199A-B board also has a Windows based Graphical User Interface (GUI), which is used to compare the power saving performance of different power solutions and to see the effects of changes in input and output parameters on the power saving performance.
