DC2789A-A is an evaluation kit for Digital-to-Analog Converters (DACs) designed by Texas Instruments. The evaluation board allows designers to debug and evaluate their design of a suitable DACs quickly and easily, without having to worry about designing their own printed circuit board (PCB) for the DACs. DC2789A-A also provides the necessary options and features for the development of a DACs.
The DC2789A-A board is based on Texas Instruments’ MSP430F2618 microcontroller and its on-board Flash memory. The MSP430F2618 microcontroller is a 16-bit, low-power, high-performance processor with embedded flash memory and several analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and digital-to-analog converter (DAC) peripherals. This microcontroller is capable of driving up to 16-bits of resolution and up to 16 channels of DACs. The board features a debug header, a power supply, a voltage regulator, and inputs and outputs connectors.
DC2789A-A is designed to provide an optimized environment for DAC design. The board is capable of providing up to 16 bits of resolution and up to 16 channels of DACs. The board features a SMA connector that allows designers to easily connect their DAC board to the evaluation board.
