The switch also has a power-down state, where the switch is put in the off-state. The device allows routed signals on the output ports to retain its present state until subsequently changed by the user’s application software or firmware.The multiplexing feature of the DG2741DS-T1-E3 enables the user to sequentially switch between signals by applying voltages to the control terminal of the switch from an external source.
