The DG406DN is a monolithic CMOS analog switch designed by Intersil Corporation. It enables analog signal paths connection and disconnection. Connection and disconnection of the integrated switches can be individually switched as required. As a member of the DG400/DG500 family of digital CMOS products, the DG406DN analog switch meets the requirements for switching both high and low levels of analog signals. It features low power, its gate constant current sinking is less than 5 mA, and its on-resistance is as low as 40Ω.

The basic principle of the DG406DN analog switch component is the same as other MOS transistors.
