The DG419CY+ is an interface in the Analog Switches, Multiplexers, and Demultiplexers category. It is a 16-channel analog multiplexer/demultiplexer. The device channels can be selected with either a 3-bit binary address or the three single-ended logic signals. Data is addressed via a 3-bit binary address on the ADR lines. The DG419CY+ has 8 select pins, labeled S0 - S7 which are used to establish the connection of an individual channel. In order to select a given channel, the S pins should be actuated by the appropriate logical combinations of the 3 address lines, ADR0, ADR1 and ADR2. The DG419CY+ can be used in analog or digital multiplexer applications, sampling systems and switched capacitor filters.

The primary advantage of using this device is its low resistance and power dissipation. This makes it well suited for low voltage and low current applications such as battery powered systems.
