Working Principle of DG419LDY+T

The DG419LDY+T is a quad SPST analog switch designed to provide additional flexibility and increased performance in high-speed applications. The DG419LDY+T implements four independent switches, each with its own control signal (IN1, IN2, IN3, IN4) and common signal (COM). When a control signal is applied to the switch, the input signal is routed to the output, otherwise the output is disconnected from all terminals. The control signal is designed to be compatible with both TTL/CMOS and ECL logic families.

The device features low resistance paths, low charge injection, and low power dissipation. The on-resistance of the device is 10 Ω (maximum) at 5 V and the off-resistance is 500 Ω (maximum) at 5 V. The device has a low operating voltage of 7 V and a low power dissipation of 96 uA (maximum). The low charge injection of the device is 0.7 pC (maximum) for devices powered at 5 V.
