DG419LDY-T1 devices are part of Texas Instruments\' family of precision analog switches, multiplexers, and demultiplexers. This single 8-pin DG419LDY-T1 device is a quad SPDT analog switch with low RON, fast turn-on, and low charge injection. It has a low power (727uA max), fast switching time (300ns max), low total harmonic distortion (0.02%) and low RDS (on) (3ohm max).
The DG419LDY-T1 is ideal for use in battery-powered portable electronics or for driving and controlling multiple signals. It is also suitable for interfacing with various video, telecommunications, medical imaging and instrumentation applications. The working principle of the device is to use a push-pull, low voltage CMOS cross-coupled pair of transistors to control 2-pole/4-throw analog signal path independently.
The device consists of four unity gain, low voltage differential signal (LVDS) regime SPDT analog switches. It is an ideal solution when switching AC and high differential voltages at low power, because of its low power mode and fast switching time. The excellent off-isolation characteristics of the DG419LDY-T1 device make it suitable for making and breaking signals up to the maximum input level of the device.
This device can be used with a minimum on-state resistance and a high off-isolation of typically 60db at 1MHz. The combination of excellent off-isolation, fast switching time, and low power makes the DG419LDY-T1 suitable for a variety of applications, such as video switching, data acquisition systems, mobile communications, measurement and control systems, and video imaging systems.
DG419LDY-T1 devices are available in both the Through-Hole, and Low Power SSOP package types. Its low power CMOS technology and low power idle mode make it an ideal solution for a wide variety of portable applications.
