The DRV8303EVM motor driver evaluation and demonstration board (EVm) facilitates evaluation of the DRV8303EVM motor driver with Resolver feedback. Applications

Working Principle

The DRV8303EVM motor driver evaluation board operates on a 3-phase power bridge configuration with Resolver feedback. The DRV8303EVM driver operates in cycle-by-cycle current limiting mode. The DRV8303EVM driver board contains circuitry for sensing the angular position of the rotor through a Resolver interface. The angular position is used for calculating the phase currents of the motor and generating the drive signals.

The DRV8303EVM uses the Resolver signals to produce very precise angular position information required for many motion control applications.
