1. Describe

The DRV8801QRTYRQ1 provides a versatile power driver solution with a full H-bridge driver. The device can drive one winding of a brushed DC motor or stepper motor, as well as other devices such as solenoids. Simple PHASE/ENABLE interface for easy connection to controller circuits Output stage uses N-channel power MOSFETs configured as a ½-H bridge. The DRV8801QRTYRQ1 is capable of delivering up to ±2.8 A peak output current and up to 38 V operating voltage. An internal charge pump generates the required gate drive voltage. Offers a low-power sleep mode that shuts down internal circuitry for very low quiescent current consumption. This sleep mode can be set using the dedicated nSLEEP pin. Provides internal protection functions: under voltage lockout, over current protection, power short circuit protection, ground short circuit protection, over temperature warning, over temperature closure. Overcurrent (including short-to-ground and short-to-power) and overtemperature fault conditions are indicated on the nFAULT pin. The DRV8801-Q1 is available in a 16-pin QFN package with an exposed thermal pad for enhanced thermal dissipation.
