The DS1085LZ-12B2+ is an advanced clock generator and frequency synthesizer for use in a wide variety of applications including communications and industrial process control. It provides a highly flexible and cost-effective solution for generating and managing frequencies from 0.2 MHz to 200 MHz.

The DS1085LZ-12B2+ is based on a single PLL (Phase Locked Loop) architecture. This enables the device to generate and synthesize frequency signals with exceptional accuracy and stability. The device utilizes an internal voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) to generate outputs up to 200 MHz with a frequency stability as low as 10 ppm. Additionally, phase noise can be minimized with the DS1085LZ-12B2+\'s PLL architecture and integrally built-in fractional-N synthesizer.

The design of the DS1085LZ-12B2+ is optimized for low noise and low jitter. It has excellent output jitter performance at any frequency provided by its internal digital frequency synthesizer. The device also has flexible input and output port configurations, making it well-suited for a range of different applications.

The DS1085LZ-12B2+ is an ideal device for wireless base stations, optical transceivers, data center servers and storage systems. By providing an adjustable output drive capability, the device is also suitable for applications such as high-frequency clocking, clocking of multiple DSPs and ASICs, fan-out buffer clocking and reference for simulation of clock signals for test and measurement purposes.

The device also features two output types of Reduced Swing Differential Signaling (RSDS). This synchronizing signal helps to reduce power consumption and switch-speed of CMOS circuits while also allowing high clock rates with low jitter. Furthermore, the output signal is compliant with the LVPECL (Low Voltage Positive ECL) standard and can easily be interface with most popular logic families.

The DS1085LZ-12B2+ is an excellent choice for applications requiring a high performance, cost-effective clock generator and frequency synthesizer.
