The DS1085LZ-5+T is a low-cost clock generator, frequency synthesizer, voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO), PLL, Clock synthesizer, Spread spectrum clock support functions all in one integrated circuit. It provides an ultra-small and low-cost solution to a variety of timing applications.
This versatile device has a clock/PLL input of up to 8MHz and can produce reference, spread spectrum and low jitter clock outputs over a very wide frequency range (8MHz to 200MHz). The DS1085LZ-5+T comes in both a single package and multi-package of up to 5 pins, supporting both surface-mount (SMT) and through hole (TH) installation options.
The device can provide either output phases offset by 45° or provide a complete, adjustable phase-delay line from 0° to ±180°, which can be adjusted in 5° increments to precisely synchronize outputs with different clock domains. One of the key benefits of this device is that it offers greater than or equal to 80dB of phase noise reduction on the outputs.
The DS1085LZ-5+T clock generator device provides a high level of integration with a low-cost, small form factor.
