The VCO output is divided down to the required frequency, or divided into a number of cycles, which can then be counted to provide the required delay. The timing control circuitry allows the user to select a range of delay times from 1 microsecond to 2048 milliseconds. The DS1135LZ-12+ also has an internal data register that allows for fast programming of the delay line, making it ideal for use in systems where multiple delays must be set in quick succession.The DS1135LZ-12+ features digital pulse width modulation and is suitable for use in applications such as the generation of digital signals, digital-to-analogue conversion, frequency division, clock division, signal synchronization and time-of-flight measurements.
