The Working Principle of the DS1239S-5N+

The DS1239S-5N+’s working principle is relatively simple. The device monitors the incoming Power Line Voltage (VCC), and triggers an output when a voltage, current or temperature-based event occurs. The integrated Ultrasonic Technology then communicates with external circuitry to control the system based on the detected event.

In normal mode operation, the DS1239S-5N+ monitors the input Power Line Voltage (VCC) and the output returns to its default inactive state when the input power level is within the required range. If the input voltage or current reaches a threshold defined in the device specifications, the supervisor will immediately activate the output of the supervisor to switch off or demagnify the power as required.

The device also includes an input/output interface for communication with external circuits and systems.
