The DS14C88MX/NOPB is a low power dual high-speed transmission line transceiver designed for applications in high-speed asynchronous communication systems that require a fast data rate, low power, and good EMI performance. The transceiver utilizes two differential receivers and two differential transmitters operating at up to 5 Mbps. The DS14C88MX/NOPB is a half-duplex transceiver, allowing the configuration of full-duplex or half-duplex operations in asynchronous communication systems that implement either differential logic drivers or open collector drivers on the control line.
