DS1706TEUA+ is a precision, low-power supervisor device with four output voltage thresholds, supervised outputs, and integrated EEPROM. It is a cost-effective and easy alternative to discrete solutions. DS1706TEUA+ is an ideal solution for supervisory or control functions in medical, industrial, or consumer applications.

DS1706TEUA+ monitors the system power rails and controls the power supply sequencing and reset. The device contains four voltage threshold comparators that monitor two or three power rails with ±1.25% threshold accuracy. The typical operating current for the device and its outputs is less than 1µA, and the operating temperature range is from -40°C to +85°C. The device also features an EEPROM that stores configuration settings and other parameters like supervisor window time-out and reset delay.

The device interfaces with an external microcontroller and communicates with it through an I2C/SMBus compatible protocol. This interface allows real-time control and monitoring of the application. The device has three independent monitored inputs, each with a programmable trip point. In addition, each input has an adjustable reference voltage that can be used to fine-tune the thresholds in order to compensate for application-specific process variations.
