It is ideal for applications that require accurate temperature measurements from multiple locations, such as temperature control systems, humidity sensing systems, cooling and heating systems, medical devices, and so on. In addition, its fast response time and low power consumption make it suitable for both commercial and industrial use.This state-of-the-art temperature sensor can detect temperatures between -40°C to +85°C and provide precision readings in 0.04°C increments. It also provides high accuracy between -20°C and +80°C. The low drift of the IC enables high accuracy temperature measurements. It is multi-channel and able to sense up to 8 channels when an external connection is required.The DS1775R2+T&R is using a thermistor as the temperature sensor element. A thermistor is a type of resistor that has a resistance that changes in response to the changes in temperature.
