The DS1833-10 is a voltage supervisor integrated circuit generally used to monitor the power supply voltage of an electronic device. It is developed by Dallas Semiconductor, a company specialized in the development of semiconductor, sensing and control and other technologies.

It is a simple, one-shot reset device widely used in microcontroller-based designs. This voltage supervisor has four outputs to alert the system of power supply problems and to alert the system when the voltage is within a specified range.

When V DD1 , V DD2 and V DD3 are all respectively within the valid voltage range (1.8V to V DD ), the reset is asserted active-low. When at least one of the three voltages is outside the valid range or when the input voltage drops below its reset threshold, the reset is asserted active-high, bringing the system out of reset.

In addition, the voltage supervisor has a power-on reset circuit which monitors the power supply voltage and asserts the reset signal if the voltage exceeds the reset threshold. The reset signal is de-asserted when the voltage drops below the reset threshold.

The DS1833-10 has a wide operating voltage range (1.6V to 5.5V) and low quiescent current. It also features a wide supply voltage margin, which is important for large system-on-chip designs where the constant power is low.
