The DS4510U-15/T&R is optimized for precision power-management and monitoring applications, monitoring the main supply voltage and providing an active-low reset if the main supply voltage falls below the guaranteed reset threshold voltage under normal operating conditions. In addition, two precision voltage monitors are available on each channel, allowing the user to monitor additional power supply voltages.

The DS4510U-15/T&R is designed with an on-chip power-on reset circuit that monitors the main supply voltage and asserts a reset on power-up and suppression of false reset as the supply voltage slowly rises. The reset output level remains active until the voltage reaches the preset threshold voltage. In addition, the Reset output level is also active in the event of a brownout, that is, when the input voltage falls below the preset threshold voltage.

The device is designed to provide an active-low reset output to the system\'s microprocessor core logic under normal operating conditions. The reset output is held low until the supply voltage gradually rises above the threshold voltage. If the supply voltage falls below the guaranteed reset threshold voltage below the noise threshold, the reset output is held low until the voltage rises above the reset threshold voltage. The reset output is then deasserted, indicating proper operation.

The DS4510U-15/T&R is ideal for use in a variety of power-management and system-monitoring applications, such as microprocessor/microcontroller systems, system-level monitoring, portable and battery-powered devices, as well as low-voltage systems.
