Embedded – Microcontrollers
The DS80C320-MCG is a 8-bit microcontroller from Maxim Integrated. It is based on the industry-standard 8051 architecture, and combines on-chip Flash memory, analog-to-digital conversion and serial peripheral interface. The microcontroller is suited for industrial and consumer applications such as printer control and medical devices.
The 8051 core was initially developed by Intel in 1980 and has since become the basis for a wide range of 8-bit controllers. The 8051 is an 8-bit microcontroller architecture that features a powerful instruction set, along with accurate timing and interrupt control.
