Working Principle of DSA7101Q0L Transistor

DSA7101Q0L uses BJT to amplify a signal. BJT is an electronic device consisting of three regions, namely, base, collector and emitter, which are connected in a loop, form a PN-junction. The input signal is applied to the base and the output signal is generated from the collector. This BJT works in three main regions, called active, saturation, and cutoff region. When the base-emitter voltage is greater than the threshold voltage, the BJT is said to be in the active region. In the active region, the collector current is proportional to the base current. When the voltage of the base-emitter is increased beyond a certain limit, the BJT is said to be in the saturation region. In the saturation region, the collector current flows without any variation to the base current. When the base-emitter voltage is below the threshold voltage, the BJT is said to be in the cutoff region. In the cutoff region, no current flows from the collector to the emitter.
