The EKMG500EC3330ME11D is a multi-section, volumetric, aluminum electrolytic capacitor with a small volume. It is mainly used as a signal coupling, decoupling and energy storage device of an ac frequency circuit. The working principle of the aluminum electrolytic capacitor is that two sheets of aluminum foil are used as two electrodes. The two foil electrodes are rolled into a cylindrical form and a thin separator impregnated with an electrolyte is wound in the middle. One of the aluminum foils is etched away to form an irregular surface, which increases the effective area of the capacitor and improves its performance.
In order to form a dielectric film on the surface of the aluminum foil foil, electrolytic oxidation is performed.
