Operating Principle

The EL5362IUZ-T13 utilizes two internal, precision voltage references to regulate its output against the power supply variations.

It consists of two complementary, high gain, standard metal oxide resistor (MOS) transistors, an N-type MOS (NMOS) and a P-type MOS (PMOS). Both the NMOS and PMOS, in conjunction with a pair of metal oxide resistors, produce an amplifier that has the requisite high gain, low offset voltage and low noise. The NMOS and PMOS transistors interact with each other to maintain a high open loop gain , while the metal oxide resistor helps to maintain stability and linearity in the output.

When the input voltage applied to the EL5362IUZ-T13 is higher than the internal reference level, the NMOS and PMOS transistors closes and opens respectively in order to maintain the differential current in the amplifier. Similarly, when a voltage that is lower than the internal reference level is applied, the transistors then opens and closes respectively. As result, the differential current within the amplifier is maintained.
