The ESH1C-E3/61T is a type of single rectifier diode, which has a wide range of application fields. It is designed to provide efficient, low leakage and low forward voltage drop rectification in medium and high frequency power electronic circuits. A single rectifier diode is composed of two semiconductors which are connected together to form a diode. When a current is flowing through the diode, the junction of the two semiconductors allows the current to pass, but not in the opposite direction. Thus, the diode acts as a one-way valve, allowing electricity to flow in one direction only. This type of diode is suitable for applications such as power supplies, AC line-frequency voltage-doubling rectification, bridge rectifiers, invertor rectifiers, motor commutation, RF high-power applications, and more.

The ESH1C-E3/61T should be used in applications requiring a single rectifier diode with low forward voltage drop and very low leakage current. This diode is designed with a high power rating and a high surge current capability, making it suitable for high speed transient application. It has a low thermal resistance of 0.23°C/W, allowing for effective dissipation of heat from the device and preventing over-heating. The device is encased in UL94V-0 flame retardant plastic and is suitable for board mounting. It is RoHS compliant and can operate within a temperature range of -65°C to +125°C.
