Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are divided into two types: wet and dry. The wet type capacitors are made of materials that can absorb liquid, while the dry type capacitors are made of materials that will not absorb liquid. The dry type capacitors are known as ESK228M025AL4AA. They are also a miniature, high capacity, and high temperature grade capacitor with small dimensions.

The application field of ESK228M025AL4AA is mainly used in high-power switching power supplies, power amplifiers, aerospace, automobiles, computers, communications, consumer electronics, medical and other industrial applications, and in these equipment, the external environment is relatively harsh, and the temperature is relatively high.

The ESK228M025AL4AA works by using the phenomenon of passivation to form a double-layer electric insulation film on the surface of the aluminum foil. The dielectric of the capacitor is mainly constituted by an aluminum oxide film and a liquid electrolyte when using a wet process. The liquid electrolyte not only increases the capacitance, but also acts to reduce the internal resistance, enabling the capacitor to achieve a higher capacitance with a smaller volume.

The aluminum electrolytic capacitor consists of a cylindrical shell, a negative pole tapping lead, a hugging spring, an anode core of aluminum, an electrolytic paper, a liquid electrolyte, a sealing ring, an insulating pad, a positive pole tapping lead and an o-ring seal. The cathode core is composed of aluminum foil initiated oxidation film, and then filled with a liquid electrolyte, again in the cylindrical shell filled with an appropriate amount of electrolytic paper insulation and fixed with a sealing ring and an insulating pad, and then the upper and lower leads are sealed with an o-ring and connected to the end of each pole to complete the production of the aluminum electrolytic capacitor.
