EVB81115-A2 Application Field and Working Principle

EVB81115-A2 is an evaluation board designed for testing and evaluating the electrical and performance properties of the MCU, DSP and related embedded applications. This evaluation board is equipped with a variety of tools, such as embedded OS, peripheral and software and helps in the design and process of evaluating the performance of applications. EVB81115-A2 contains a 8-bit basic core microcontroller, which is compatible with various microcontrollers such as RISC-V, ARM Cortex-M0, etc. It is capable of running up to speed of 80MHz and has wide range of communication peripheral such as USART, SPI, I2C, CAN controllers, etc. It also has additional features like 5V input for external devices like motors, sensors and actuators. It also contains 4 LEDs, four RS-232/USB ports for general communication, an opto-isolated SERCOM port and flash memory port for storing configuration data and code. In addition, a 5V power with transformator eliminates the need of batteries for providing the board with sufficient power supply.
