The EVM3810-QB-18-01A evaluation board is a highly-integrated, DC/DC & AC/DC (off-line) SMPS. The board is designed to evaluate ON Semiconductor’s advanced high efficiency power conversion components and give a real world application to verify theoretical simulation. It provides a plug and play solution for users, combining the power stage, control circuitry, and the system sensing components into a single card. This board is particularly useful for power products that are expected to operate in a variety of conditions and requires evaluators to quickly determine output performance and system margin.

The EVM3810-QB-18-01A can be utilized to evaluate the performance of a wide range of power supplies and power systems, including the programmable bidirectional Buck-Boost/Buck in full-bridge topology. It can also be used to experiment with power drivers and control schemes with the maximum output voltage of the topology. Additionally, the board can be used to test and evaluate single supply 100 kHz to 1 MHz digital dimmer systems with both constant current and constant voltage outputs.
