F28M35E50C1RFPT is a 32-bit TMS controls microcontroller. It includes a unique 64KB flash memory, a 256KB RAM, a dual 12-bit ADC and 16-bit Timers. The serial communication peripherals of the device are multi purpose serial communication interface (MPSI), inter-integrated circuit (I2C), serial peripheral interface (SPI) and universal asynchronous receiver/transmitter (UART). The on-chip peripherals include powerful DirectMemory Access (DMA) engine, cyclic redundancy check (CRC) module, serial communications interface (SCI) and data trace module (DTM). The embedded lockable register architecture also enables the secure operation of the device in low or no-code application platforms.Application Field:

The F28M35E50C1RFPT is based on the 32-bit TMS processor core. It is a Reduced Instruction Set Computer (RISC) with an 4-cycle clocked architecture. The core is equipped with a 3-stage instruction pipeline and industry standard instructions. It offers an effective way to access local memory and logic elements for fetching instructions and data which allows for high performance operations. It is capable of executing up to 32 instructions per clock cycle providing eight times better performance than the conventional 8051 or PIC microcontrollers. It also supports interrupt requests with two 28-entry vectored interrupt table, which provides granular interrupt routing and responsiveness. The F28M35E50C1RFPT also has two programmable timers, each capable of generating 32-bit programmable timeout values. The integrated pulse width modulation system can generate 128 programmable PWM outputs with 256 timer configurations.The F28M35E50C1RFPT also features a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) module, Direct Memory Access (DMA) engine and a serial communications interface (SCI). The DMA engine can transfer data between the main bus and selected internal peripherals without having to invoke the main processor. This helps reduce code development time and increases system performance.
