Working Principle

FAN1086D33X consists of an N-Channel Transistor and two P-Channels. The N-Channel Transistor acts as a pass-MOSFET to switch the input voltage to the output voltage through the two P-Channels. The two P-Channels act as a voltage regulator. The two P-Channels sense the output voltage through a feedback path and adjust their operating voltage to maintain the output voltage constant. The N-Channel Transistor is thermosonic and its resistance is temperature dependent.
