The FAN5099MX is a low-power, low-cost dual-channel DC/DC converter specifically designed to handle applications requiring more than one regulated output voltage. It is also a hybrid linear and switching buck regulator that uses a linear post-regulator to assure low output ripple and low noise operation. The FAN5099MX has a wide input voltage range of 4.5 V to 22 V, adjustable output voltages from 0.8 V to 5.5 V, and an ultra-low quiescent current of only 55 µA.

The FAN5099MX DC/DC converter provides adjustable voltage regulation, excellent load and line regulation, and low output ripple. It uses an integrated buck regulator and an external linear post-regulator for low output ripple and noise. The buck regulator provides both a wide input voltage and adjustable output voltage, making it particularly suited for applications where precise voltage regulation is desired.
