The FAN7711SM is a monolithic converter in PMIC – Lighting, Ballast Controllers family. It is specially designed to provide dimming and ballast regulation in low voltage AC applications such as LED lamps, street lighting, architectural lighting, and other applications. The FAN7711SM is a fully featured application specific SM controller with high efficiency and steady off-time dynamic line-lock control scheme.

The major feature of FAN7711SM is its compact size, easy integration, and high efficiency. It can take as low as 6W input voltage and provides up to 40W output current. FAN7711SM requires a minimum of 7V of input voltage to get started and provides up to 4A of output current at 12V.
