<p>The FEB137 is a versatile and reliable Evaluation Board to help Engineers evaluate and test the performance of their AC and DC power supplies. Whether they’re using a transformer, rectifier, and switching regulator, or an IC assisted buck converter, the on-board power components and the board’s layout make for easy debugging and testing of the circuit.</p> <p>The core of the FEB137 is based on a MOSFET-based push-pull converter power stage, with an internal digital control loop and high-frequency switching elements. This allows for a continuous and pulse mode of operation, as well as a greater flexibility as compared to pure RC-based solutions. The board also features high peak current capabilities, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.</p> <p>For AC/DC power supplies, the FEB137 board is designed for a number of sources, making it a great option for both on- and off-line architectures. The board contains a wide range of current-sense, gate-driver, and soft-start components, which allow for the precise regulation of the output voltage, power, and current. Furthermore, the board’s high-performance design is capable of delivering up to 75 VDC, and can be operated from any DC input voltage ranging from 7 VDC to 140 VDC.</p> <p>The FEB137 evaluation board also offers DC/DC capabilities with its integrated buck-boost converter. This mode of operation allows the board to supply a wide range of output voltage capabilities. Using the on-board control circuitry and the adjustable power components, engineers can design custom power supplies that can provide up to 90 VDC output voltage, and can be operated from an input ranging from 6 VDC to 24 VDC.</p> <p>Furthermore, the board’s integrated isolated flyback feature allows for a rapid transition from DC/DC to AC/DC operation. In this mode, the board can be used to generate up to 210 VAC, and can be operated from an input voltage ranging from 120 VAC to 250 VAC.</p> <p>The FEB137 also offers a wide range of protection features, including under-voltage lockout, over-voltage protection, over-temperature protection, and over-current protection. This makes the evaluation board suitable for most engineering and production applications. Additionally, the on-board components are also designed to offer high-frequency noise immunity, making the board highly immune to noise from external sources. </p><p>In short, the FEB137 is a versatile and reliable evaluation board which provides a wide range of AC and DC power solutions, with a range of features to protect the board and its components.
