The FEB176 board is an ideal platform for evaluating any off-line switching power supply design from a few watts up to 300 watts. A wide range of features, including integrated FETs, coupled inductors, and even a fully integrated MCU, make the FEB176 a very versatile development tool. It is capable of studying a variety of applications, including LED drivers, AC motor control, voltage converters, inverters, and much more.

The FEB176 board utilizes the PFC-Controller IC and the HVAC measurement IC. The PFC-Controller IC is responsible for controlling the voltage, current, and frequency of the switch-mode power supply. It features low noise operation, high efficiency, and low EMI levels. The HVAC measurement IC has the ability to detect the AC voltage of the power input and output. This allows the user to easily monitor the power circuits when developing power supply designs.

The FEB176 board can be used to develop a wide variety of DC/DC and AC/DC (off-line) switching power supply designs. The board comes equipped with both a high-voltage input and output power supply and a low-voltage output power supply.
