The FOD8523S optoisolator is a transistor output, photovoltaic optoisolator made from GaAs infrared source and a N-channel enhancement-mode MOSFET for photo-coupling applications. This device allows for current isolation between input and output potential, providing electrical insulation and protection from various hazards in the circuit.
