The FODM3021R4 optoisolator is part of the growing family of Triac and SCR Output optoisolators. The FODM3021R4 optoisolator series is designed to safely and accurately detect, control, and isolate AC loads, such as appliances, industrial machines, and lighting systems. It is suitable for use with both Triac and SCR output optoisolators.

The FODM3021R4 optoisolator features a high reliability, low power, wide operating temperature range and low leakage low optical performance. It is designed for use in home appliances, industrial machines, medical equipment, lighting systems, and renewable energy equipment. The optoisolator has a 4-pin dual-in-line (DIP) package and is engineered with advanced isolation technology.

The FODM3021R4 opto-isolator features a 30mm diameter ceramic package and is designed for both short-term and long-term operation. The device supports a maximum voltage of 600V, and its power dissipation rating is 9W at 25°C. The maximum steady-state emission current is 8mA and the response speed is 200μs, ensuring optimum electrical isolation and low response times. Due to its high reliability and low EMI performance, the FODM3021R4 is suitable for use in industrial, commercial, and consumer applications.

The working principle of the FODM3021R4 optoisolator is based on the detection and isolation of AC loads by using a light source and a photodiode.
