Diodes - Bridge Rectifiers are devices which allow current to flow through them in one direction only. They are active circuit components used to convert alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC). As the name suggests, they consist of four individual diodes which are arranged in a bridge configuration.

The GBJ6005TB is an example of a bridge rectifier. It is an ultra-fast recovery rectifier which allows for quick and large current levels. Aside from just conversions, the device can be used for many other applications. In particular, it can be used as a circuit protection element. The rectifier can also be used to regulate the output current. This ensures stability and results in more accurate readings.
