General Purpose Diode Bridge Rectifier, TYPE GBJ601, is a kind of 4 diodes bridge rectifier With the general 1N4001 diode, the maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage is 600V, while under reverse voltage it can stand least 1A forwarding current. Besides, its forward voltage drops is 1.1V. Bridge rectifier is composed of diodes, four, exactly. It is designed mainly to convert an alternating current (AC) power supply to direct current (DC) power supply, and when rigged into a circuit, it can be utilized for numerous applications. It is normally used for supplying DC power supply to electrical and electronic circuitry for various purposes. It is also utilized for isolating two electrical circuits, and for discharging some capacitors in DC electronic power supplies, as well as for other functions.
