HER105G-TP is a single rectifier diode from the HER105G-TP series manufactured by Diodes Inc. This product is an upgrade from its predecessor the HER105G, adding thin-profile and PSR-R options for easier handling and operations. The HER105G-TP series is available in various packages including full-size and thin-profile standard, dual and tri-channel, axial and radial-leaded and PSR-R ultra-low profile SMD packages. It is designed to offer both cost-savings and space-saving while providing higher performance than its predecessor.HER105G-TP series is a single rectifier with a very low on-state voltage drop, making it ideal for power applications. It is suitable for applications including power supplies, personal computer UPS, AC to DC converters, voltage regulators and DC to DC converters. It has a highly temperature-compensated and ultra-low forward voltage starting from 1.2V for the new PSR-R version.The application field of HER105G-TP rectifiers encompass a wide range of uses from telecommunications and industrial purposes to consumer products. The thin-profile and PSR-R versions lend themselves well to the mobile industry. It can be used in automotive applications,USB 5V applications, low-voltage power supplies, notebook power supplies and more. It is suitable to be used in hot plugging applications like USB docking, USB-C and HDMI types too.The main working principle of the HER105G-TP rectifier is to create a steady output byopposing the flow of main current in the reverse direction. It is mainly used to pass current in one direction and prevents current in the opposite direction. This is achieved by using a pair of PN (Positive Negative) layers inside the rectifier. A thin P-type layer stops the current in the reverse direction and only allows current to flow in the forward direction.The HER105G-TP rectifier is an ideal solution for any situation that requires a low-cost, space-saving, higher performance single rectifier. With thin-profile and PSR-R options to choose from, there is something to fit any application.
