Working Principle

The HER1605PT C0G is a three-phase rectifier bridge rated for 1600V. It is made up of three legs, each with two diodes connected in series and two anti-parallel diodes connected between the two legs. The forward bias of the two anti-parallel diodes provides a three-phase full-wave bridge rectifier output, with phase shift of 30 degrees between each phase. This output is then filtered and dc link capacitor added. The resulting output is then rectified by an inverter and controlled to provide the required motor drive. The motor drive is a regulated dc motor with a three-phase rectifier, providing a 3-phase induction motor drive.
