The IC also has excellent pulse handling characteristics with the output voltage swing of up to 5 V.The HMC474SC70ETR has two amplifying stages and is based on the differential amplifier architecture. The first stage operates differently when compared to other differential amplifier circuits; in this case, the input current flows through the differential pair transistors in both directions and the output signal is taken directly from the common node between the two transistors.
