Working Principle
The ICS667M-01T is a highly integrated device which combines various functions such as clock and data recovery, phase locking, and frequency synthesis into one integrated circuit. It consists of a low-jitter phase-locked loop (PLL), an integrated loop filter, and a frequency dividing network that allows for the generation of divided frequencies. The device is designed to take an input reference clock, and produce a low-jitter output clock which is phase-locked to the reference clock.
The ICS667M-01T incorporates a low-noise PLL with a programmable loop bandwidth, which can be adjusted to optimize performance in different applications. The phase resolution of the loop can be programmed through the register interface.
