The operation of the ICS954203BGLFT is based on a phase-locked loop (PLL) topology. The PLL consists of a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO), loop filter, phase detector and a reference oscillator. The phase detector compares the phase of incoming reference signal with the phase of output signal from VCO.
