The IDT2309B-1HPGI8 is a high-performance integrated clock synthesizer from Integrated Device Technology, Inc. (IDT). It is ideal for advanced clock generation and timing applications that require high accuracy and reliable performance. The device is comprised of a programmable PLL (Phase Locked Loop) and a programmable logic array, both of which work together to generate multiple clock signals with high accuracy, stability, and flexibility.At its core, the PLL integrates multiple elements within the device to generate a clock output, or in this case, up to eight separate clock outputs. The PLL contains a Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) with a wide range of frequencies, multiple internal dividers and phase-locked loop feedback paths. This allows the user to program multiple frequencies with fast settling and precise accuracy. In addition, the device is capable of providing separate phase locked outputs, or multiple clocks that are phase locked to the same reference.The programmable logic array (PLA) is a feature-rich addition to the PLL and helps to further enhance the clock generator’s performance. The PLA contains twenty-one programmable logic cells and is used for programming the outputs for any given frequency. Additionally, the PLA can be used to program multiple multiplexers, to form higher accuracy pulse width modulated clocks, or for other advanced functions. The IDT2309B-1HPGI8 is a highly customization clock generator that has been specifically designed to provide fast and reliable solutions for multiple timing and clock applications. It can generate and output multiple frequencies, each with high accuracy and stability, enabling designers to expand the functionality and performance of their systems. It is ideal for applications where precise timing and accuracy is critical, such as in communications, networking, storage, and other data and signal libraries that require high-precision timing.Key features of the device include low-jitter performance, programmable frequencies up to 120MHz, wide range of frequencies, and low power consumption.
