The ILD620-X009T is a wide range optoisolator bridge specially designed for fast switching transient response. It is a photovoltaic-transistor output device package with three transfer characteristics.

The ILD620-X009T optoisolator is an isolation bridge, which is used to prevent transmission of electric noise and interference across electrical circuits by providing a physical boundary between the two sides. Basically, this device creates a low resistance path between the two bridge elements when the gate is driven by a light emitting diode (LED) and it also blocks electrical conduction when the LED is not driven.

The ILD620-X009T optoisolator is a 4-pin surface mount device (SMD) package. It contains two diodes and one transistor. The two diodes are connected in series, and the transistor is the output device. The device comes with three different transfer characteristics, namely non-inverting, inverting and turning off characteristics. In non-inverting characteristics, the voltage on the output side is driven by the voltage on the input side. In the turning off characteristics, the protection circuit is provided between the exposed terminal and the collector of the output transistor.
